Design Features of a Wind Warrior:

ONE-DESIGN identical yachts provide the most economical and closest racing available. As proven in keel boat classes. The same is true for radio yachts.

FIBREGLASS CONSTRUCTION
The hull, keel-fin and bulb are integrated in the molding process and the hull and deck
are bonded while still in the moulds to create a monocoque shell with a durable gel-coat finish. Fibreglass is superior in strength, durability and reparability than painted plastic of other models.

TAPERED MAST & BOOM
The tapered mast with a luff-slot is only 1mm wall thickness providing a light & attractive mast and the channel section tapered main-boom is just ??? grams. Post machining anodising provides excellent corrosion resistance for salt-water conditions.

QUICK FIT HATCH
The unique hatch system snaps open and shut with no tools, or thumb screws providing a secure water-tight fit.

EFFICIENT SAILS
The sails are carefully produced to provide efficient shapes from quality sailmaking materials. The headsail is paneled and has a built in forestay which hooks on & off in seconds. The mainsail is fully battened and attaches to the mast with a bolt-rope and halyard lock.

INDIVIDUAL LOOK
Wind Warriors are carefully produced to be identical in size and weight to provide exciting racing but they are also custom built to order in terms of their look. You have a variety of colour choice for the hull (this includes keel and rudder) and although the deck and hatch are normally white, there are no restrictions. For example you may like a cream or grey deck and the hatch the same colour as the hull. You can also choose a natural or black anodised mast.

EASILY TRANSPORTABLE
The display stand becomes the travel cradle when the mast unsteps and straps on deck with or without sails attached. Stepping & restepping take seconds without tools.
